Let Your Positive Attitude Lead the Way

 original date: October 20, 2014
by d_mohr

As an entrepreneur, you have an amazing opportunity. You have the power to create a business that encourages people to promote goodness and embrace the positive.
Imagine a world where people actually act on their promptings to make a difference in the lives of others? That’s what SendOutCards is all about! We’re also about building and maintaing relationships and promoting a positive attitude.

Let this opportunity guide the goals of your professional life. It is possible to make a difference in people’s lives! And it all starts with your attitude. Here are a few ways a positive attitude will contribute to a better bottom line for your business:

Set realistic goals and view them in a positive light. Put your mind in a place to desire success and then strive for it. Yes, achieving goals can be difficult, especially when you are first starting out, but if you focus your energy on how difficult it is to achieve your goal, you are devoting your efforts to a dead end. Remember that the purpose of goals is to give yourself something to strive for!

Don’t underestimate the power of your mind. Every time you tell yourself that you have talent and you can succeed, you water a small seed of confidence that will help you grow into the person you want to become. It also doesn’t hurt to surround yourself with people who are great at cheering you on!

Remember that your attitude affects those around you. Building connections is by nature a group undertaking, and it’s your responsibility to be a positive example to people. If you tell others to be positive but don’t take your own words to heart, they will eventually notice, and your words will be meaningless.

Rely on your optimism to re-energize yourself. We all feel discouraged sometimes, and we all run into those among us who doubt us or even try to tear us down. But successful people climbed the mountains in their lives by revitalizing themselves. They came to a point where they began generating their own optimism and positive energy to keep themselves going when everyone around them thought they’d fail.

Take this opportunity to create positive goals that will ultimately strengthen the foundation of your business, so you can enjoy the journey to the greatest extent and achieve the success you desire.

Thank Goodness for Residual Income

WOW - June already?!? After my March post when I was "returning," you may be wondering where I have been. Well... healing and such took a different path and this surgery has been more than I expected. It is over - you've seen the photos. I will save you my 'poor story,' as I choose to look at the positives. I still have so many other things that others in the world do not, so I am not going to give any more time to my surgery or outcomes or final results.  I AM healthy, I AM eating many regular foods, and I AM more knowledgeable when it comes time for my children to need orthodontic care.

SO... yes, I am back! Back to blogging and our training of out-lying team members. In the last six months, we've done a lot with our personal sponsors; however, I didn't reach out to others (because of above difficulties). That is over. You (we) still have half a year to go and a lot of people to reach out to and share the products and the opportunities that SOC offers.

In closing I would like to state how grateful our family is for residual income. We have had more success in SendOutCards than I did in 7 years with another company. And our goal to create the same for others these next six months... those on the fence just need to get started.

To quote our SOC Leader and #1 income earner, Jordan Adler, "It's not like you join your company and make money. It's the business you create that causes you to make money! Money is made as a result of the volume you create." And thank goodness we have that volume... thank goodness for residual income.

If you haven't read Jordan's book, "Beach Money" put that on your summer reading list - you will thank me. Need a copy? Send one to yourself with a card from our site today!

I AM here for you - reach out and connect.

Wishing you only the best,
Danielle

Work Hard - Play Hard

Hi Friends,

Just a quick note to check in. I can't believe it's been six weeks since my last entry... but I have a good excuse. We have been blessed with our business and set goals for our family... and in achieving them, we celebrated together too. We took a four-week vacation and celebrate us - we went to Disney World parks, Legoland, Florida beaches and got to visit both sets of grandparents. Literally, we were home a couple days (2!) in four weeks - just enough time to do laundry and jet set again.

Here are just a couple photos:

When you wish upon a star...
The Tree of Life is amazing!

Every boys dream! And it was a total surprise -

Everything was unbelievable - Dream & Achieve

As if the parks at Disney (we did Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot) and Legoland were not enough, we have one last surprise for the boys.  We stayed at a resort in Ft. Walton, Florida and one morning decided to take kayaks out in the Gulf of Mexico. Take a peek at our video - THIS topped all our memories for me and was a moment for all five of us to take in the beauty of the animals in their natural habitat while listening to their breathing and chatter.

Well... vacation is over, school has resumed and so has my appointments to aid others in their personal and business relationships - all with the power of a greeting card. Check out our cards and gifts at by clicking here. May this tool and service allow you to work smarter and not harder - but if you do work hard, remember to take time (especially with your family) to PLAY HARD too.

And as always, thanks for following us. We appreciate you!

In gratitude,
Danielle

Less Me, More WE

We all have heard "there is no /i/ in team since the age when you may have stareted sports. I am here to tell you there is no /me/ in business. To be successful in business with sales or team building, you need to focus on the WE!  What you can do as a team - for us, this rings true with our team buidling and the success of our team.

Those of you in network marketing or similar business understand that half your business is in sales and the other half is related to your team... and you'll see this as a reflection of your ability to coach, teach and mentor.

Some things for you to think about: What are you offering your team? Office hours? Emails? Training? Samples? Models? How does your personal business look like? As we have learned with our children, we get a better response / action when we "do what we say" ourselves and not just expect our children to do it without seeing us model or do the same action required.

I write the blog for many mompreneurs across the board (regardless of our companies), we are all trying to do the same juggle between business and family. IF you are part of our CardsAndMohr team, you will never see us ask you something that we are not willing to do ourselves.  And you'll find the same as you team build your own success unit and team.

Just keep striving to make a difference - not only for your family, but for your entire team. I will tell you, if feels great to meet personal goals and shower your family with abundance; however, there is something more powerful that feels FANTASTIC to celebrate your team doing the same... from that first sale, recruit, promotion, walk across a stage, etc.

We are always here to serve you. We just summed up the first half of 2012 - here is to your goals for the next six months. Shoot for the Moon!!!!  Sincerely, Danielle & Tim

Duplication of Penny and Team

From time to time I'm asked about team building and the power of duplication in team building. To answer the question, we share the story of multiplying a penny. It is amazing what you can achieve with consistency and duplication... With a new person in your team I recommend you share your story, the 'recipe' to success and help the new rep succeed.  Use the training the company has given you, keep it simple and don't change the 'recipe.' What I love about SendOutCards is that there is 'recipe' we use and the Basic Training each new rep goes thru is the same no matter where they are trained. Our Basic Training maual gives us the first steps to succeed... the only difference between a new rep and some of our leaders is time!

Penny Analogy - Doubling penny each day!

The same can be demonstrated with Team Building.

What is neat about the above is if you look at the ideal team building and the financial success with a perfect formula, it an unbelieveable number... What I love is the realistic view with a 10% success rate and it is still A LOT of money. Don't take my word - look at the business opportunity for SendOutCards - better yet, look at the vision!  I believe we're in a business bigger than we are, who is more than 'just cards.' I feel like we are the start of a positive movement; one of gratitude... one to make us all pause, reflect and appreciate all life's blessings to our familes.

If SendOutCards appeals to you, but you wonder about statistics in Network Marketing - here is a great slide with details. The attrition rate of other network marketing companies is: 61%  For SendOutCards: it was a third of that (I'll check my notes for specifics).  We have approximately 150,000 distributors world-wide.  Are you still afraid that SendOutCards is saturated? No. Message me and I'll give you detail for your area, but there is a lot of room for lots and lots of people to be success.

Shoot for the moon! I will always be here for you. If you are on our CardsAndMohr SOC team and committed, we are committed to you and will take you to the next levels!

Sincerely,
Danielle

Consistency is the Key!

I just had a great discussion with a new distributor on our team that set goals for the first month and has hit a home run.  They finally understood all my tips and subtle hints from the past.  They now understand our love for the network marketing industry.

Network Markeing (SendOutCards for us) is the only business we know where an average every day person like us, can build a solid business without having to invest a huge amount of money with risk.  Network Marketing is NOT a get rich quick business, but it is one that you can reach your dreams, if you do 3 things:

1. GET STARTED

2. NEVER QUIT

3. KEEP WORKING YOUR BUSINESS DAILY

Pretty simple, but consistency is the key. We have a plan that we share with each new member of our team. We look at their goals and we shoot for the stars. This week, we're off to Las Vegas for our SOC Convention and will miss you!  Consider joining us... and that way you can be with us in Vegas, the next cruise, and VIP trip.

We are cheering you on!
--Danielle

PS: I attached this photo floating around the internet/Facebook and I love it.  Everything we know in the world is set up in a 'pyramid.' The one thing that always has attracted me to Network Marketing is I'm on my own... our success is due to our efforts and we can promote before the guy 'ahead' of us.  In the corporation we'd have to wait for others to be promoted (move or die) in order move up.... In Network Marketing, we are in charge of our success and promotions. WHOO HOO!

No More Calling in Sick

YEAH - so thankful for a business I can run from my laptop... anywhere. Give me a computer and a telephone and I'm in business. What a week of illness at my house - last week, my little one was sick and today/tomorrow, my middle kiddo is out of school. I have wrote my appreciation in my Gratitude Journal that I am thankful that I didn't have to call anyone and 'ask for a sick day.' I am able to be mommy and business owner... I am in charge of my life...

If you are not in charge of your life, what can you do differently? What would a side business in network marketing provide you? Do your homework - there are so many companies. Find one that fits your personality and family needs.... Research the investment, the return, and the competition...  Find out: What is the commission rate? Can you earn a residual income with *just* customers? Do you need to team build to be successful?

I LOVE that our SendOutCards team gets that choice. Some of our SOC family are working "part-time" while still having an outside j-o-b.  I'm excited to see their progress.... For those who are just gathering customers, they are on their way to earning $2000/mo in residual income in a year. What would you do with $2000 a month?

And those that take their business to the next level and show others how to do the same thing are creating a legacy and a residual income for years and years to come. "The Future is Now" is our theme for convention - and I can't wait for the trip to Las Vegas, but I can't wait to see our team experience the trip. Amazing memories are waiting!!!

If SendOutCards has ever interest you for a business, take a look at the specifics on the business site.  Or if you want to try the sytem for a month or so, create an account thru this link.  With either option, you'll see what a difference you'll have in all your relationships!

If you are ready to join our SOC Family and Team, then message or call me. I will always be your biggest cheerleader.

Hugs,
Danielle

Franchise vs. SOC

Hi Friends - I can't take credit for this information, but I felt it important to share.  The details from today's post is from an email from our SOC mentor, Jordan Adler.

"In this turbulent economy, one option to diversify would be to start a franchise. I personally think network marketing is a better option however just in case you're interested, here's some startup info. Keep in mind, it may take you 3-5 years to break even and you'll never experience residual income. You'll have to manage employees and do your own payroll and accounting. Don't forget, you'll have to sign leases and pay lawyers and franchise fees.

Before you sign up for one of these programs, you may want to consider that having a network marketing business requires none of this, has a residual component AND costs under $1000 to start (and by the way, the earning potential is significantly higher in network marketing).

So here are some options for you:
1. Snap On Tools $135,390  # of locations 3,392
2. 7-Eleven $393,800  # of location 6,142
3. Aaron's $420,725 # of locations 1,749
4. Panera Bread $1,447,770 # of locations 1, 379
5. Servpro $156,250 # 1,571
6. McDonald's $1,480,625 # of locations 14,016
7. Liberty Tax Service $63,350 # of locations 3,592
8. Merry Maids $66,600 # of locations 943
9. The Maids Interntional $106,420 # of locations 1,053
10. Jimmy John's $395,500 # of locations 1,130

Please let me know if you need any more info on any of these opportunities. :) By the way, they are legally not allowed to tell you how much money you can make . . . but they have to tell you that you may lose all your money and that you probably won't break even for 3-5 years. "

Forget about the financial impact, instead take a look at your time freedoms... do you have it? Are you missing out on something or someone important in your life?  Anything worth having is worth time and love - where will you be in 3 to 5 years?  Probably the same place if you don't take the first step in a new direction.

These franchise have a huge range of investment cash, what if you could find the same opportunity with SendOutCards... for an investment of $295.  Check out the details on the business opportunity by clicking here.

Cheering you on! Shoot for the Moon -

Why Greeting Cards?

With our recent article in Be The Boss Magazine for Valentine's Day about couples working together, we've been answering one question since it was published.  The Question: Why Greeting Cards?

Well... our company, SendOutCards is super easy. With gas prices rising, you never have to leave home to send our cards. ;o) I love sending cards in my pajamas - I really think I'm a better friend. ♥

Invest in Your Future

‎Did you know....
600,000 companies shut down in 2010. The numbers are not yet out for 2011, but included in those numbers will be 93 banks which combined closed 457 branches.

Out of those, I wonder how many people, both business owners and employees, were told about the opportunity to invest in Netflex, iTunes and Amazon, but turned it down.... choosing to stick with Blockbuster, Tower Records and Borders.

Why do I reflect on this?  Because our company, SendOutCards has already paid out $50 million in commissions... in less than 10 years.  You know about SOC because of our family, our team and/or others in the same busines, but I'd be willing to bet your next door neighbor has not heard of us.... yet.

Would you like to have a part?

As a mom who started in direct sales (network marketing in 2003), I am in awe of the success our family has had in one year with SendOutCards.  In no disrespect to the other company that I spent eight years with, I never saw the commissions, leadership bonus or incentive trips that we have been blessed with this year.

Just don't take my word - watch the videos at our business site, message me for a magazine, or email us for other's stories. We don't want to leave anyone behind as we shoot for the moon - join us. You'll find that we are your biggest cheerleader and take great pride in seeing your success and circumstances change for your family.

In no way am I telling you to quit your j-o-b, but I would encourage you to look at SendOutCards as a Plan B... as another stream of income that you can easily do part-time until it replaces the income generated by j-o-b.  The freedoms in time and finances is an amazing feeling - may you see the potential and experience similar blessings.

All my best! --Danielle & Family

Ascend to New Heights

Happy New Year!  Sure, I've said that before - but for our family and our SendOutCards business and team, it is a new year.  "WHY?" You might be asking.  Oh, so much to tell you.... I don't even know where to start.
First, to our CardsAndMohr (SendOutCards) Team, we apreciate you.  You have worked so hard in your business and now the fruits of your effort will be seen this year.  Take a peek at your January check (from December sales) and know that is your smallest check of 2012.  And here is why....

  • SendOutCards has lowered the starting entrepreneur price to start business. It is only $295!
  • There are Basic & Certified Training offered everywhere so you know how to work your biz - and it is the same training in Alaska as it is in Florida, Hawaii and Maine and all states in between.
  • No more upfront cost for your customers to use SOC - make immediate commissions. Customers can start for $10 or $30/month depending on their needs.
  • Leadership bonuses for all!  Even as a new rep, you earn $ - however, these leadership bonuses are not paid until you teach/train your new rep.  There is a lot more responsibility and committment from your Sponsor.

A lot of this needs to be in discussion.  I will plan to do a conference call after a live-streaming event on Thursday. Look for those details - or call/message me before then.

The last news to share is that SOC has published a new magazine called ASEND.  There is so much in this magazine. I LOVE the title - granted there is a play on spelling, but I looked up the definition of "ascend."  as·cend (verb) 1. to move, climb, or go upward; mount; rise 2. to slant upward 3. to rise to a higher point, rank, or degree; proceed from an inferior to a superior degree or level.

There has never been a better time to be in SendOutCards. Our CEO told us that these last six years have been our "prelaunch" stage and now we have a chance to share the two missions of our company in 2012....

  • Allow people to act on their promptings (follow that voice & send card/gift to let someone know you are thinking of them
  • Provide a vehicle for financial freedoms*

*I'd like to add that our success this year has not been all about the money. ;o) Of course it is, but it isn't the dollar amount - it is what those paychecks have allowed our family in time and family freedoms.  From a house cleaner now and then, Club Sports for our oldest, charity and vacation & family trips.  We are blessed - we know that, we appreciate that and never take our responsibilty and committment to our CardsAndMohr team (read family) for granted. We are here to see them... and maybe you succeed. Want to know about the business, click here for some videos or email me.

You know how I'll close this blog... SHOOT FOR THE MOON! 2012 is your's - to quote the event from this weekend, "get up and get busy."  All my best! Big Hugs - Danielle

With SendOutCards and any direct sales biz, you need to be in it for a year to be competent and profitable and by 3 years, you will find yourself replacing your j-o-b income.... Work it side-by-side until then...

Our Best Investment

Busy month with the holidays, but this post by friend Brian Cook seems timely as you make plans for 2012....  Keep reading.

"Most people live in regret and everyone wishes they would have not passed up on an opportunity.

There's an old saying that if you don't act now, then you'll probably never act. I was doing some research today about some companies that were small less than ten years ago that are now houseld names doing millions - billions in profit yearly. I looked at two, nine years ago Netflix was trading at $7.72 a share. Today $247.60! Then there's Apple, you've probably heard of them. Nine years ago they were trading at $7.25 a share. Today $332.19!

WOW! I'm just curious how would have it feel if you have invested in either company just 9 years ago. Better yet how would it feel if you would have invested $500 and got paid just a nickel off every DVD rented or iPod sold? Most people would say HECK YA I'd be SET for life. I'd be retired, living in my dream home, driving my dream cars and taking my dream vacations.

Guess what?

I know the next company that's going to do that!

So what's easier for you to keep putting off your dreams or talk to me to see what the heck I'm talking about.

If you are curious of what this company is....ASK!"

You've heard our story and what abundances have come our way in just a year.  An old coach used to say "Should have, Could have, Would have never won a ball game." Don't miss out on a chance to make a difference for your family. Allow us to share more details as you plan for SOC-cess in the new year.
All my best - Danielle

Business Building Reminders from a 3-Year Old

Another day of fun with the kids and another chance for a lesson that goes waaaaay beyond learning to ride a bike.  Today our 3 year old wanted to ride a two-wheel bike (with training wheels of course), but has struggled with 'pedaling.' I took a lot of videos since dad was gone to send/text and show him.  During the playbacks of the videos I started to hear myself and the "wisdom" I was telling our son, trying to encourage him and teach him to keep going listen & remind myself of the same advice.

I thought there were enough "wisdom nuggets" to compile and share in this post.  So if you don't get tired of watching a 3-year old pedal, you might actually find some words that speak to you.

When You Get Stuck - Keep Going....

Practice - Practice - Practice...

Never Give Up....

Leaders Keep Moving too - Momentum....

END RESULT....

It's funny that it takes someone so small to remind all of us in business (no matter your industry) what it takes to succeed.  Your success will not happen over night and you always need movement and action (not to be confused with "activity"). Make a plan and stick with it! As mentor, Adam Packard wrote "Stay the Course..."  Find your business, make a plan and have the best year yet....

Millionaire Todays... Your Choice

Quick Facts for Today...  Did you know that in in the US there were:

3.6 million millionaire families in 1991
7.2 million millionaire families in 2001
10 million millionaire families in 2011

In the 1990's the best way to make money was to make things. Today the best way to make money is the distribute things. This is the age of the home based business.

The millionaire population exploded. And all Millionaires MAKE a CHOICE. What choice will you make today?

Of course, we favor our business with SendOutCards as there are no home parties, inventory or pressuring friends to buys items they may not need. We all have a need to send cards and gifts - we might only send approx 10 a year, but have a need for at least 70.  We've shown that with the ease of SOC's system - it is now affordable and convenient.  We all missed the opportunity with Netflix, but we are beyond thankful for all the blessings SendOutCards has provided us.

Make your choice for you and your family. It's not a get-rich path, but there is so much freedom within 2-5 years.  Shoot for the Moon and make your Dreams a Reality. --Tim & Danielle

Sunday, October 2, 2011

Today I am sharing this entry from our friend and supportive SendOutCards' husband, Stuart Snook.  He wrote it this past weekend in regards to his wife, Lori starting on our team.  He writes to all our friends and about missing this opportunity to be in a "young" company that is going places.  If you had known about Netflix ten years ago, would you would have done it... well, here is SendOut Cards.  For the friends who are on this journey, we are thrilled - we didn't want to leave you behind.  We'll always be here for you. --Tim & Danielle

"What is your excuse?

I have spent the past twelve years in sales. I have heard every reason to buy or not to buy. I have heard every excuse. Sometimes these people have made mistakes, sometimes not. What is your excuse?

I have a relative that tells a story about a missed opportunity. He was talking to a friend that was trying to sell a new business idea. He believed that one day you would be able to call your wife as she was shopping at the mall, on a wireless phone. This business man was looking for investors for his new company. My relative’s comments: “That is Star Trek type stuff. It will never happen.” Needless to say, he did not invest in this company. This company now has $19 billion dollars in revenue. What is your excuse?

We have all heard the stories about Fred Smith and his term paper that started Fed Ex. He thinks he got his usual “C” on the paper. At one point, he even took some money to Vegas. His winnings went to the company just to make payroll. Can you imagine a world without overnight delivery? What is your excuse?
Two years ago I got laid off. I could not find a job. My brother was in the same boat. We decided to start a company. This was originally just to keep up our skill set so we could find a “real” job. Eighteen months later, we have one million dollars in sales and some long term agreements with a Fortune 50 company. This is no longer a hobby. What is your excuse?

My wife joined an organization known as Send Out Cards approximately 3 months ago. It is a network marketing company. I am not a fan of network marketing. I hate having to buy inventory. I hate being invited to parties where you are pressured to buy crap you will never use, need, or seek out in normal life. This is different. This does not have inventory or parties. I do not have a lifetime supply of toothpaste, or laundry detergent. She has taken her distributorship and really kicked into overdrive. To say that her success has been extraordinary is an understatement. I almost told her not to join. What would have been my excuse?

This company is experiencing tremendous growth. What is your excuse? Contact us and find out what this company is all about. DO NOT LET THIS BE THE OPPORTUNITY THAT YOU LET SLIP AWAY! Not enough time? Too expensive? Not sure I know how to do this? What is your excuse?"

Hi Friends,

I am sharing a question I received in an message today: "How hard is it to have a SendOutCards business?"

Seize the Moment (video)

Success = Preparation + Opportunity.

Take a peek at my diary entry - We compared a football game between Iowa & Iowa State this weekend, but no matter the analogy, what are you waiting for?  If an opportunity is there, take it - if you don't, someone else will.  Follow the "What If!"  The "What If" is what changed things for our family and whatever your "What If," I hope it does the same for you too.

Financial Freedom is NOT Promised

Hi Friends -

You might be thinking the title is tough and unlike all the other teases to blogs, videos and ads! I don't want it to be tough, I want it to be real.  After nine years in network marketing, I will share with you first-hand that financial freedom is not promised.  Financial Freedom is not going to 'just happen' as you sit there.  Financial Freedom is POSSIBLE.

View this short video from me and look at the network marketing company you are with or that you are considering joining.  What is that company's history... and what is the company's future?
