You’re like peas and carrots. Peanut butter and jelly. Buzz and
Woody. Bert and Ernie. No matter what happens, through the good and bad,
happy and sad, you’ve never left each other’s side.
How do you describe a friendship like that? Here are some famous
quotes about friendship. Which one captures your friendship best?
“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: ‘What! You too? I thought I was the only one.’” – C.S. Lewis
“A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you
have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to
grow.” – William Shakespeare
“A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you.” – Elbert Hubbard
“My best friend is the one who brings out the best in me.” – Henry Ford
“Friends are those rare people who ask how you are and then wait for the answer.” – Unknown
“Growing apart doesn’t change the fact that for a long time we grew
side by side; our roots will always be tangled. I’m glad for that.” –
Ally Condie
“The real test of friendship is can you literally do nothing with the
other person? Can you enjoy those moments of life that are utterly
simple?” – Eugene Kennedy
“Friendship isn’t a big thing — it’s a million little things.” – Unknown
Good friends are hard to find and impossible to forget. Let these
simple quotes inspire you to make time for your special friend today.
Nurture what you share together and send them your love in a custom card or gift today.

Less Me, More WE

Those of you in network marketing or similar business understand that half your business is in sales and the other half is related to your team... and you'll see this as a reflection of your ability to coach, teach and mentor.
Some things for you to think about: What are you offering your team? Office hours? Emails? Training? Samples? Models? How does your personal business look like? As we have learned with our children, we get a better response / action when we "do what we say" ourselves and not just expect our children to do it without seeing us model or do the same action required.
I write the blog for many mompreneurs across the board (regardless of our companies), we are all trying to do the same juggle between business and family. IF you are part of our CardsAndMohr team, you will never see us ask you something that we are not willing to do ourselves. And you'll find the same as you team build your own success unit and team.
Just keep striving to make a difference - not only for your family, but for your entire team. I will tell you, if feels great to meet personal goals and shower your family with abundance; however, there is something more powerful that feels FANTASTIC to celebrate your team doing the same... from that first sale, recruit, promotion, walk across a stage, etc.
We are always here to serve you. We just summed up the first half of 2012 - here is to your goals for the next six months. Shoot for the Moon!!!! Sincerely, Danielle & Tim

Why Greeting Cards?
With our recent article in Be The Boss Magazine for Valentine's Day about couples working together, we've been answering one question since it was published. The Question: Why Greeting Cards?
Well... our company, SendOutCards is super easy. With gas prices rising, you never have to leave home to send our cards. ;o) I love sending cards in my pajamas - I really think I'm a better friend. ♥
You create, we print, stuff, stamp and mail the cards/gifts for you.
And now SendOutCards has even more... there canvas prints, calenders, business cards, posters and photo-books that can be ordered. Have a wedding? We do that too!
SendOutCards is growing exponentially. We are the most affordable in our industry. NO ONE can beat our prices and we have NO competition. Click here for a FREE gift account to try it or click here to see if the business opportunity fits you with no quotas, no home parties and no inventory. Basically we gather customers and show others how to do the same. ;o)
If the system fits you, welcome to the ease and affordabilty of card sending. If the business opportunity is what you want, let me be the first to say Congratulations! We will be here every step of the way as you shoot for the moon.
Hugs,
Danielle

Got Accountability?
Not a big post today, but simple question and encouragement. What are you doing for accountability for your business? Do you have an accountability partner? While your family is great support, I'd recommend an accountability partner outside of your family - the person can be, but doesn't have to be in your same business.
The accountability factor is just that... we do more when we know someone else is watching, monitoring or doing the same thing. Case in point - I did NOT want to go to the gym today. For some reason my to-do list seem never ending and I had a couple other excuses I could have pulled out instead of showing up for my hour session at the gym. Why did I get there? Because the group of gals I work out would be there - and if they could be there, I could be there. It would have been so easy to skip, but because I knew these gals were counting on me, I was going to be there.
The same is for your business... Maybe you and your accountability partner swap data: phone calls, shows, opportunity, meetings/1-on-1s, demos, etc... whatever is specific to your company. Just connect and start checking in with each other. It's great motivation, self-competition, and you WILL do something business related because you don't want to report "nothing."
How would a little extra effort change your business? For me, it is huge - I see it! When I'm on and working my business (for an incentive or self-motivation like a trip), it is completely different than the days that I just sit 'waiting for business' to come to me. Work smarter, not harder, get an accountability partner, and give 30 extra minutes a day... you will be on FIRE!

Writing a Thank You Note 101
Grandma might not say anything to you, but she is probably disappointed how people today have lost their manners. I'm not here to step on a soapbox, but I do want to draw your attention to showing appreciation - to your family, friends and business acquaintances. I just found out that many adults are dropping the thank you notes... WHAT?!? And an email just won't do it!
Did you know that when you send a thank you note, that the gesture improves the frequency and quality of the gifts you receive. J People like being appreciated, and if they feel you actually notice the nice things they do for you, they’re more likely to give an encore performance. Wouldn’t you want a client/customer returning for service or product… or better yet, referring you to another client/customer? Of course!
Need help writing, just include these six steps:

1. Greet the Giver
2. Express Your Gratitude3. Discuss Use of Item or Time You Had at Event
4. Mention the Past, Allude to the Future
5. Grace (say thanks again – it’s not overkill)
6. Regards
Sounds easy enough, right?!? Now get it in the mail. And remember, if trying to get to the store or post-office is your excuse for not sending thank you note, go to our site. You have no more excuses using SendOutCards and by sending notes of appreciation and kindness, we’ll help you change a life… one card at a time.

Ascend to New Heights
Happy New Year! Sure, I've said that before - but for our family and our SendOutCards business and team, it is a new year. "WHY?" You might be asking. Oh, so much to tell you.... I don't even know where to start.
First, to our CardsAndMohr (SendOutCards) Team, we apreciate you. You have worked so hard in your business and now the fruits of your effort will be seen this year. Take a peek at your January check (from December sales) and know that is your smallest check of 2012. And here is why....
A lot of this needs to be in discussion. I will plan to do a conference call after a live-streaming event on Thursday. Look for those details - or call/message me before then.
The last news to share is that SOC has published a new magazine called ASEND. There is so much in this magazine. I LOVE the title - granted there is a play on spelling, but I looked up the definition of "ascend." as·cend (verb) 1. to move, climb, or go upward; mount; rise 2. to slant upward 3. to rise to a higher point, rank, or degree; proceed from an inferior to a superior degree or level.
There has never been a better time to be in SendOutCards. Our CEO told us that these last six years have been our "prelaunch" stage and now we have a chance to share the two missions of our company in 2012....
*I'd like to add that our success this year has not been all about the money. ;o) Of course it is, but it isn't the dollar amount - it is what those paychecks have allowed our family in time and family freedoms. From a house cleaner now and then, Club Sports for our oldest, charity and vacation & family trips. We are blessed - we know that, we appreciate that and never take our responsibilty and committment to our CardsAndMohr team (read family) for granted. We are here to see them... and maybe you succeed. Want to know about the business, click here for some videos or email me.
You know how I'll close this blog... SHOOT FOR THE MOON! 2012 is your's - to quote the event from this weekend, "get up and get busy." All my best! Big Hugs - Danielle

- SendOutCards has lowered the starting entrepreneur price to start business. It is only $295!
- There are Basic & Certified Training offered everywhere so you know how to work your biz - and it is the same training in Alaska as it is in Florida, Hawaii and Maine and all states in between.
- No more upfront cost for your customers to use SOC - make immediate commissions. Customers can start for $10 or $30/month depending on their needs.
- Leadership bonuses for all! Even as a new rep, you earn $ - however, these leadership bonuses are not paid until you teach/train your new rep. There is a lot more responsibility and committment from your Sponsor.

Our Best Investment
Busy month with the holidays, but this post by friend Brian Cook seems timely as you make plans for 2012.... Keep reading.
"Most people live in regret and everyone wishes they would have not passed up on an opportunity.
There's an old saying that if you don't act now, then you'll probably never act. I was doing some research today about some companies that were small less than ten years ago that are now houseld names doing millions - billions in profit yearly. I looked at two, nine years ago Netflix was trading at $7.72 a share. Today $247.60! Then there's Apple, you've probably heard of them. Nine years ago they were trading at $7.25 a share. Today $332.19!
WOW! I'm just curious how would have it feel if you have invested in either company just 9 years ago. Better yet how would it feel if you would have invested $500 and got paid just a nickel off every DVD rented or iPod sold? Most people would say HECK YA I'd be SET for life. I'd be retired, living in my dream home, driving my dream cars and taking my dream vacations.
Guess what?
I know the next company that's going to do that!
So what's easier for you to keep putting off your dreams or talk to me to see what the heck I'm talking about.
If you are curious of what this company is....ASK!"
You've heard our story and what abundances have come our way in just a year. An old coach used to say "Should have, Could have, Would have never won a ball game." Don't miss out on a chance to make a difference for your family. Allow us to share more details as you plan for SOC-cess in the new year.
All my best - Danielle

How do I blog after my last entry?!?
Hi Friends and Followers -
First of all, you are amazing individuals who have offered up prayer for two families this week... and have included prayers for my heart. I'm blessed. I have to admit, I'm kinda stuck on how or what to blog... While I find the next fitting entry, I wanted to share a email I received about the last video.
Last week, I tried all morning to create the video reminding you (and me) to act on our promptings.. you know that little voice that we often ignore. I tried all morning and I never got it done... then our 3 year old came home and I still hadn't been successful. Our kiddo was almost a good distraction to keep my tears away so I could share the message. I was concerned and expressed it to friends that I didn't want the video to appear disrespectful with Landon crawling in the background, but was reasured he did not do that.
Here is what a friend sent me:
"Danielle - God was speaking to you that day and he wanted you to do the video. Not a perfect video but that is OK because none of us are. It was genuine and heartfelt and that is what is important along with your message. I thought it was very sweet that your son wanted to be a part of it. I always thought you had a good heart Danielle even when we were kids. That is obviously still reflected yet today! : ) "
Thank you to my friend above and to all of you who have sent messages, texts, phone calls and cards. You are amazing. I hope I have blessed your life as much as you have mine and our family's. Thank you for being part of our "Family" in and outside of SendOutCards.
Big Hugs,
Danielle

A Reminder to Act of a Prompting - You don't get a Second Chance
Thank you Denai for your friendship - you are a gem who will be missed by many. I opened my heart and may look vulnerable in this video, but didn't want another friend to miss an opportunity to listen to that little voice... I didn't want another friend to live with the regret of waiting on that voice (aka: prompting) as I did with my trip to see you. May your passing remind us all to act on our promptings. Here is my video - I won't waste another opportunity.I will forever keep your words from your Grief Blog Radio show on Monday as your lesson and God's preparation for his plan to send an Angel home. It was a year almost that you opened up to us to share your pain when losing three friends in a blog/you-tube post.
Our family prays for Tim and Tori and all the family and friends who miss your sunshine here! I will never hear a "WOO HOO" without thinking of you. You leave a legacy and definitely exemplified your quote, "Live A Life... That Out Lives Your Life." Now those are some words to live by!
Lots of love,
Danielle

Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction states that whatever you focus on, think about,
read about, and talk about intensely, you're going to attract more of into your life.
Think of it this way... According to the Law of Attraction, the phrase "I need more money" allows the subject to continue to "need more money". If the subject wants to change this they would focus their thoughts on the goal (having more money) rather than the problem (needing more money). This might take the form of phrases such as "I have as much money as I need" or "I have a job that pays very well". ♥ Shoot for the moon. -Danielle

I wanted to share a video from February 2011 when I was interviewed by Patty Farmer, Your Branding, Marketing and Networking Expert on Kathy Hines' Celebrity U Radio/TV Show. We talk about your ROR (aka: Return On Relationships), as coined by Patty Farmer. If you are a business and do not have a follow-up systerm for customers, clients or prospects - please watch this video. If you are a business that has a follow-up system, but needs something better - please watch this video.
Click here to watch how easy it is to send card and gifts... for all your relationships.
Lesson from the Video & our best buisness advice: Appreciation will "win" over self-promotion everytime. Imagine the return on a $5 Starbucks card for a referral or a box of brownies... Imagine the impact you just made on someone's day. "Give to Give" without strings attached and you'll be amazed what happens.
My best to you, Danielle
PS: I know I should smile more (thank Mom!). However, to my defense I had just had my braces put on and between the pain of placement & vanity, I didn't want others to see the, ;o)

Are You Thanking Your Employees & Downlnes?
No matter your business, you as the owner or manager are similar to that of a Coach. Your employees, sales reps, downlines and others within your company are part of your team and you are the Coach. And just like any team, the performance of each individual player affects the performance and image of the entire team.
Now-a-days, you see a turn-over within a business as employees look for other options. Not always do employees leave for bigger & better things, some employees leave because they did not feel appreciated. You will find yourself in a cycle of training employees who leave, thus costing you time and money.
Do you send them a thank you card, a gift or even say "Hey, you did a great job!" Have you ever thought what a difference your note of appreciation or gratitude for their efforts, performance or success would have on the employee?!? We all have an innate desire to be appreciated... what if it were so simple as sharing your thoughts in written words.

Allow us to show you how easy it is to use a system for personal & business needs - for customers, employees and downlines. Take a couple minutes and show someone you care... you appreciate them.
We are making a difference for many and will be there to help you make a difference too.
